Panel discussion on the right to water

On November 25th in Barcelona Habi presented the state of the right to water in Egypt and discussed the strategies to implement it during a panel discussion with Clivia Conrad of Ver.di, Germany’s syndicate of public water of operators, Meera Karunananthan of the Blue Planet Project, Matilda Kimetto of the Kenya County Government Workers union, Philip Gichuki of the Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company, Lidia Serrano of Ingeniería Sin Fronteras Barcelona, Juan Carlos of the Public Water Operator in Ecuador and Satoko Kishimoto of the Transnational Institute.

This presentation and panel discussion was part of the strategic meeting of the The Reclaiming Public Water Network which connects water activists, trade unions, academics, public water operators from the global North and South working to improve and expand public water delivery.
